Can anyone be hypnotized?

If you can sleep, you can be hypnotized.

Hypnosis is a state of relaxation and specifically refers to reaching the alpha and theta brainwave states. These bands of brainwaves are associated with relaxation and light to deep trance states. These brainwave states are naturally occurring and are experienced daily by every person as they cycle through various levels of consciousness, including during sleep.

Alpha brainwaves (8-13 Hz) are present during light relaxation and are often experienced when we are calm, meditative, or engaged in activities that promote a restful yet aware state. As soon as you close your eyes, your brain switches into the alpha brainwave state. That’s how easy it is!

Theta brainwaves (4-7 Hz) occur during deep relaxation, such as during certain stages of sleep or deep meditation. These are the states targeted in QHHT to access to the subconscious mind.

Hypnosis guides you from your normal beta state—associated with alertness and focused attention—down into alpha and theta states. In these states, the subconscious mind becomes more accessible and deep healing, across all dimensions, can occur. Since everyone naturally transitions through alpha and theta states before falling asleep, the ability to be hypnotized is a common trait.
