Looking for my Fox Mulder.
A curious, intellectually brave research collaborator who brings compelling questions, domain knowledge, and the resources or platform to pursue them seriously.
What I’m Looking For
I’m looking for a curious, thoughtful research collaborator who is excited by ambitious questions and equally committed to investigating them carefully.
The strongest collaborations bring together complementary strengths. I contribute quantitative modeling, hypothesis testing, scientific research, data analysis, and clear communication. I’m hoping to work with someone who brings their own meaningful contribution to the project, such as:
Deep subject matter expertise
Access to relevant data, archives, instruments, or research communities
Experimental, observational, or technical capabilities
Funding or support for research expenses
Writing, publishing, filmmaking, or audience reach
A strong original question with a well developed body of supporting research
Consistent time, energy, and follow-through
You don’t need to have every resource in place. You should have a clear sense of what you bring to the collaboration and be prepared to participate actively as the research develops.
Intellectual honesty matters deeply to me. The ideal collaborator is open to unexpected, unfavorable, or inconclusive results and sees those outcomes as valuable information. I’m most interested in working with someone who wants to build credible research, document the process carefully, and complete work we can both be proud to share.
In other words… I’m looking for my Fox Mulder: curious, persistent, and willing to investigate unusual questions seriously.
I am looking for a true research partnership with shared responsibility, visible credit, and meaningful contribution from both sides. Before beginning a larger project, we will define roles, deliverables, authorship, decision making, public attribution, and time commitments in writing. Initial collaborations begin with a limited trial phase so both parties can confirm that the working relationship is genuinely mutual.
I do not enter collaborations where I am expected to provide the modeling, analysis, writing, and public defense while remaining behind the scenes.
